As a sister restaurant of Qing Xiang Yuan Dumplings, JIAO restaurant is located at 18 S Wabash Ave, Loop, Chicago. We are the first Chinese fast food restaurant specializing in soup dumplings in the United States. We aim to redefine Chinese soup dumplings by providing exceptional taste, efficient service, an elegant and cozy environment, and a unique dining experience.

The Dumplings

The recipe is inspired by Qing Xiang Yuan Dumplings in Chinatown, which is one of the most famous dumpling restaurants in Chicago. JIAO upgrades the taste by using the premium ingredients and more healthy cooking methods. JIAO will serve 2 types of dumplings: steamed and pan-fried, with 8 different options of flavor including pork, chicken, beef, lamb, vegetables, shrimp, crab, and truffle. Of course, you can expect limited seasonal specials as well.

 

Innovative

JIAO will be using an innovative and proprietary way to steam dumplings by using a square, portable, and multiple-use tray instead of a traditional bamboo steamer. On the other hand, the cute dumpling figure created by our team celebrates the youthful and innovative spirit of JIAO.

During your busy weekdays, you can easily place order in advance by using JIAO App to save precious time. JIAO App will be launched in August 2019.

 

 

Styled

By combining Chinese traditional landscape elements with modern design, JIAO is creating a tranquil environment in the heart of the Loop where customers can momentarily escape the hustle and bustle of city.
